Error: Network Unreachable on Playstation

This Playstation® error it is telling you that there’s a communication problem between the WWE Network app and your service provider. It would help to update your PS software and restart your Internet device.

Update PlayStation Software

From the PlayStation Home screen:

1. Go to the PS Menu (XMB), scroll right to Settings System Software Update.
2. If there’s an update, it will automatically begin to download.
3. When downloading is complete, install the downloaded update.
4. Don’t off your console or you’ll have to start all over again.

PlayStation power cycle

Stop to the power struggle between your PlayStation and your network. Give the PS a full reboot, or power cycle, to bring peace to your network.

1. Unplug the PlayStation from its power supply
2. Wait 60 seconds
3. Plug your PlayStation back into its power supply
   

Wi-Fi router power cycle

Sometimes routers get clogged with bits and bytes of data. It happens. Before you call Rhoda at tech support, a quick flush with a power cycle can make your troubles go away.

1. Unplug the PlayStation
2. Unplug the WiFi router/access point
3. Wait at least 60 seconds
4. Plug the router back in and wait for the signal.
5. Restart your PlayStation

Change Internet Address

When the traffic gets heavy, try an alternate route. Use Google DNS to speed up performance.

Primary DNS: 8.8.8.8

Secondary DNS: 8.8.4.4

Change Primary and Secondary DNS:

1. Go to the PS Menu (XMB), scroll right to Settings Network.
2. Select either Wi-Fi or LAN cable (wired).
3. Select Custom.
4. If Wi-Fi: Network > Enter Password.
5. On IP Address Settings, Select Automatic.
6. On DHCP Host Name select Do Not Specify.
7. On DNS Settings, select Manual.
8. Select Primary DNS and enter 8.8.8.8
9. Select Secondary DNS and enter 8.8.4.4
10. Once changed, click Next.
11. On MTU Settings select Automatic.
12. On Proxy Server, select Do Not Use.
13. Click Test Internet Connection.
14. Enable UPnP if prompted.
15. Press to save.
